Rita Weiss

Rita Weiss is a Global Team Development Strategist and Executive Coach with over 20 years experience facilitating the successful development of leaders and teams. Rita has advised and coached over 700 corporate executives and leaders, assisting them in developing the skills and competencies required to achieve results in today’s multicultural business environment.

Having worked extensively with global companies, Rita has developed specialized expertise in helping cross-cultural teams accelerate the achievement of their individual, team and organizational goals. She has coached executives and teams from around the world, including the UK, Western and Eastern Europe, India, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Recent clients include American Express, Bayer HealthCare, Berkeley College, Broadridge Financial Solutions, GlaxoSmithKline, MasterCard, NASDAQ OMX, and National Grid.

Rita brings to her consulting practice over 20 years of experience in corporate leadership development, giving her an in-depth understanding of the demands and challenges of the corporate business environment. Her experience includes leadership positions at Bankers Trust Company and MCI Communications. Rita’s training as an Executive Coach includes completion of a two-year Corporate Coach training program. In addition, she is certified to conduct 360 feedback surveys, diagnostic assessments and leadership competency evaluations.

Rita is co-founder of RS Worldwide Consulting, a global consultancy that helps executives and teams succeed by aligning their leadership and workplace styles with their unique cultural profiles. RS Worldwide specializes in cultural integration and global team development, providing individual and group programs that result in increased engagement, enhanced teamwork and improved performance.

An active member of several professional associations, Rita is a Past President of the Westchester chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and is a founding member of the Westchester chapter of the International Coach Federation. She has also taught graduate courses on Leadership and Teams at Manhattanville College.

Rita is a recognized expert in the design and delivery of group coaching programs for global teams and leaders. She is a featured coach in the recently published book, Effective Group Coaching, which highlights her group coaching models and programs. Rita holds a B.A. in Russian from SUNY Binghamton and an M.A. in Linguistics from Indiana University.
